Facebook Groups does a pretty good job of this, but more and more people are rethinking its use. With recent campaigns like #DeleteFacebook, more and more people are becoming wary of using Facebook and Instagram due to ad targeting, privacy considerations, or concerns over the companies business practices.

So how do you privately share photos and videos with a group people at a wedding, conference, charity event, or tournament? Let us show how to do that with PicPack, the easiest way to privately share photos and videos with groups.

What is PicPack?

PicPack allows groups to easily collect and view photos and videos with the option to password protect them and keep them completely private. It was designed to allow everyone within the group or team to easily share their photos and videos without needing to download an app or signup.

Each PicPack comes with a personalized URL that can be shared with the group via email, SMS, or any other communication channel. More importantly, the creator of the PicPack can add a password to ensure only those people with the password can upload and view photos and videos.

Here is how it works:

Sign up for Picpack

The owner of a PicPack is the only one that ever needs to signup, and doing so is super easy. You can signup for PicPack in two clicks. Use your Google account or phone number. That’s it. We won’t ask you for anything else. We take privacy seriously and only need your Google account or phone number to allow you to login and securely manage your PicPacks.

You can give your private photo album a personalized name that will corresponds to your own unique PicPack link. If you are hosting a bar mitzvah, you may name your PicPack ‘Brian Lachs Bar Mitzvah’. This will result in this personalized link: https://picpack.app/brian-lachs-bar-mitzvah. This is memorable and very easy to share with your group.

2Add a description

Each PicPack can include a optional description. You may want to provide the date, time, and location of the bar mitzvah. This is a perfect way to give your group additional information, prior to or during your event.

3Personalize your PicPack

You can customize the look and feel of your PicPack by changing the color, font, and background image. This lets you add a personal touch to match your style.
